Display Your Child's Photo

How do you display your sponsored child's photo?

Over the past 16 years I have done different things with our sponsored children's pictures. I have framed them and put them in prominent places in our home (bookshelves, mantles, hung on the wall), I have put a large world map up with the child's picture next to the country they live in and I have displayed them on our refrigerator.

In our current home, I am using the refrigerator for these special photos. They are the only thing on our refrigerator so they don't get "lost" among other pictures.

  1. I have a prayer wall that covers a good part of the wall in my room. I have a large world map, then above it I have a bulletin board covered with the children I pray for (my compassion kids, the kids I mentor, and my Zimbabwe kids) as well as several verses I pray. I also have a seperate board for missionaries. When I sit on my bed I face the wall, so it is a good reminder when I wake up and also right before I go to sleep to pray!

  3. We have the photos of our CI kids in frames that surround a family picture. The frame of the family picture says "Together we make a family..."
