I'm referring to the power and hope of music, even in dire circumstances like poverty.

Yesterday Compassion featured this amazing story on their blog.




And today, this amazing story was brought to my attention.



I'm a musician, so obviously I love these examples of hope and opportunity in the form of music. I love to see the power of music transcend social and economic lines.

Stories like these are music to my ears!
