My New Ornaments

I had myself some crafting fun this weekend. I got out my girls' perler beads and made a few new ornaments for our Christmas tree. Using the colors from the flags I made ornaments for Jackson in Kenya, Bulu in India and Jazmin in Peru.

This would be a GREAT thing to do with your kids. Not only will they learn the colors of your child's flag, it will look beautiful on your tree!. I plan to keep these out on display somehow all year.

These look great! I used to use those beads all the time when I was younger. Such a great idea.

I love the idea of the colors of the flag. It is quite ingenious really. I will be posting this month on another way to hang a picture on your tree. You can actually put the picture in a bulb and it looks quite amazing (I learned it at an art class)!
