Prayer Week 17

On their website, Compassion has compiled a list of 52 specific ways to pray for your sponsored child. Each Sunday I will feature one of these. For the complete list, please go HERE.

Week 17 Obedience: Pray that _________will have such a deep love for God that living a life to please him will be the most important thing in life. Pray that this child will learn to be aware of God's leading and be obedient to follow his will.

“Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us. we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him." ~ 1 John 3:21-22

All of these things we've been praying about are important, but this topic of obedience seems to stand out among the rest. Let us pray fervently, that our sponsored children will live their lives in obedience to God.
