Scripture Memory ~ 2 Timothy 6:17-18

It’s been a while since we meditated on, talked about and memorized a new Scripture verse.

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. ~ 2 Timothy 6:17-18

As always, I would love to hear your thoughts on this verse. Perhaps your family has a particularly interesting discussion or insight when reflecting on this verse. Please come back and share with us through the comments.

Last year in Peru, a fellow advocate and traveler challenged me to memorize this one.

I really like this verse... great one to commit to memory. As a new Advocate this helps me to share more about Compassion. Ways people can help.

His word is so rich... it truly instructs us how to live... and fills us up.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Much love,
Teena

Yes....a great verse. I think I mentioned this in the post, but a fellow advocate and traveler in Peru challenged me to memorize this one. Almost a year later I'm just getting around to it.
