Alcides in Peru

First letter is dated November 2007 - final letter is dated August 2009. Alcides was 13 years old at the beginning of our relationship. I don't remember why the sponsorship ended, nor do I have a final letter. I do remember that I had just signed up for a trip to Peru and was looking forward to meeting Alcides. I didn't sponsor any other kids in Peru, so I quickly requested a correspondent child from Peru that I could meet on my trip.
