Ghana
Compassion International Ghana was incorporated on July 28, 2004, and started operations in July 2005. The Child Survival Program began in 2012. Currently, more than 52,000 children participate in more than 250 child development centers.

Guatemala
Compassion began its ministry in Guatemala in 1976 as a Family Help Program that was operated by missionaries. The Child Sponsorship Program was started in 1980. The Leadership Development Program began in 1997, followed by the Child Survival Program in January 2014. Currently, more than 46,760 children participate in 190 child development centers.
