Personally, I use these prayer requests with my kids so they get a better understanding of the needs of others around the world. I don't want our prayer life concerning our Compassion kids to become stale in any way, and these different, specific requests are a perfect way to continually open our eyes and hearts to the kids Compassion is ministering to.
Also, Compassion has compiled a list of 52 different ways we can pray for our sponsored kids. There is a theme, a Bible verse and a small description of how to pray. It's a great tool for praying for our kids in a holistic way. To see the list, simply click HERE.
