Ready ~ Set ~ Write! (and a correspondent kit giveaway)

I just sat down to begin writing my letters for this month and was so amazed that we received 18 this month. When they trickle in one or two at a time, you don't realize just how many you are actually getting over a month. Just this week we got 5. I think it's pretty cool to get mail from Indonesia, Colombia, Tanzania and India all in one week!

So now it's time to write back. This month I'm doing a bit of a "back-to-school" theme. I've got a recent photo of the girls that I took on our first day of school and in the letter I simply describe what a school day looks like for us.

What did you write about this month?

And now on to that giveaway....

Each correspondent kit will have 13 fun sheets of paper (one for each month of the year and one for birthday) and extra goodies to included in your letters. You will have your choice of young girl, teen girl, young boy or teen boy. To see samples, go HERE.

To enter simply leave a comment telling me you would like to win.

***if you have trouble commenting, email me at fiddlejill(at)yahoo(dot)com and I'll get you entered.

I will post the winner on Monday, September 17th at noon EST.

Hi Jill! i would love to win the correspodence giveaway this month! Thank you so much for always doing this!
This is a great idea and I would love to win! I love writing our three girls and seeing how they're doing :)
Hello!
I would love to win! This month I am writing about where I live (US and NY) and including maps showing where I live and camp, as well as a world map showing what country they live in in relationn to where I live. Thanks so much for the giveaway!!
Lizzie :)
When I wrote to our kiddos last week the theme was autumn and the changes that brings in our area. One of my daughters (who sponsors Janeth) wrote about our chickens and how they make her laugh. We recieved 2 letters this month, that was very exciting. Despite the number of kids we sponsor, we've only recieved 5 letters in the last few months.
This month I will be writing two letters. I just sent one with a list of questions about each child's home, community, and project. I included 10 questions in each letter. I made sure to assure the children that they didn't have to answer each question, that I was just giving them a list to choose from. I don't want the letter to feel like a homework essay, haha.

I will also be writing my Christmas letters this weekend and sending them out next week. I can't wait to share the story of Jesus's birth with each of my kids.

I would also love to win a correspondence kit. The goodies you include are wonderful!
