I LOVE THIS GIVEAWAY!!! We have Ian in PH, Timothee in BF, Tities in IO, January in PH, then Saarina in GH, and Meshack in TZ who are new. January and Ian write me frequently and are great writers who give me details and are good at scripture memorization. Timothee I do not hear from as much but he is a sweet boy and always grateful. Tities has written a couple times and is a little harder to know just yet and my new kids I can't wait to know! :O) (btw the last few times I have wanted to comment on your blog I couldn't find the comment section...but know I am still checking it out!!)

Hello! What a great idea!! I sponsor Thitichaya, a 10-year-old girl in Thailand. I have only written her a few times so far since my husband and I just moved recently, so things were hectic! But I actually just wrote her yesterday and put the letter in the mail today! :)

Actually, I felt so bad about my temporary letter-writing hiatus that I sent a letter via email on Monday, and THEN wrote a "real" letter yesterday as well... haha! She is very sweet, and I absolutely love receiving her letters. I will share this on Facebook but I don't have a Twitter account so I can't do that!

Thanks again for doing this, it's a really nice idea to help encourage others in letter-writing. :)

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to enter! :) I sponsor a boy and a girl in Ecuador. Johan lives in the south of Quito and Linda in the jungle. My first sponsored child is Johan, I have been sponsoring him since December last year and starting to sponsor with Compassion was the best thing I ever did. I added Linda in February and I have three correspondence children as well, Marisol from Bolivia, Fiorella from Peru and Edeni from the DR. They are all so precious and special and I'm so grateful for this correspondence program! I'm going to prepare letters for all of them today.... I want to tell them about a boattrip I did with my family on the Rhine river in the area we live... and I have many photos of the trip laying here waiting to be send to my kids:)

Very cool, Jill. I wrote to Tabia in TZ and Raymond in UG last night. They are both wonderful kids. I had a chance to visit Tabia last summer. It was a trip I'll never forget. One of the things that really impacted me was that I learned that Tabia suffered from malaria for many years. It would come and go and was all over her medical records for years. Then.... Compassion gave a her family a malaria net. The record showed a huge difference in her health after that. Praise God! Go to Biteback.net to learn more about how Compassion fights against malaria.
I'll post your contest on FB, but I'm not a tweeter. : )
Blessings!
Within the last couple of weeks, I have written to all four of our children and my friend's child. I love writing via Compassion.com and also sending photos, postcards, etc. via USPS. If I were to win, I would pass it onto a new sponsor in our church who is so excited about his sponsorship. I sent messages via FB and posted on FB to sponsors I know about your giveaway. We love our kids...Started sponsoring Israel from Haiti in 1998 and met him in 2008 - we were supposed to visit him again in 2010, but our commercial flight was canceled due to the earthquake. He wants to be a pastor and we are looking forward to the day when we can visit him again. Lovely is also in Haiti and her name means so much to me as Israel prays for us to have more love and God has shown us great love through Israel. Ruth is in the DR and Lawrence is in Uganda. When praying over CP for CS, I just knew we were to sponsor them. Love the work of Compassion and what you are doing! Awesome!
Hi, I would love to win! I wrote my three correspondent kids on February 4! I have a 12 year old girl from Haiti named Sabrina, a 9 year old girl from Bolivia named Luisa and a 17 year old boy from Indonesia named Zybi. Sabrina was my first and I have been writing her since June 2011 and have received 3 letters so far. I'm always excited to hear from my kids and I try to write them once a month.
