The book is divided into geographical areas which include: (countries in parenthesis represent the countries where Compassion works)
- Asia ~ (Thailand)
- India, Indonesia and Australasia ~ (India and Indonesia)
- the Middle East, Aftrica and the Mediterranean
- Russia and Northern Europe
- South America, Mexico and the Caribbean ~ (Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic)
- United State and Canada.
When each new geographical area is introduced you get some information about the countries where the recipes come from.
There are also three other around the world food sections:
- flatbreads (India, Ethiopia and Mexico)
- pocket food (Latin America, El Salvador)
- cheese (Mexico, Brazil, India)
