She's very active in the Compassion world. I see her name popping up everywhere in comments, and now she has her own blog.
I was checking out her new blog the other day and ran across this post. I knew I had to share this with you because this is a great way for any of us - all of us - to participate. You can choose how to participate, but I highly recommend you get involved in one way or another.
If you still don't know what I'm talking about, then you didn't click over and read the post I was referring to. You see, Lizzie and her dad have planned a bike-a-thon. Here's where you get to choose your personal level of participation.
- Do your own bike-a-thon
- Sponsor (financially support) Lizzie for her event
- Help spread the word
For all the details, you will have to visit Lizzie's blog. And while you are there, take a moment to say hi. If you are a fellow blogger, then you know how much comments mean. I heard it once said that our blogs are kind of like our living rooms. If someone entered your home, walked around, looked around - even sat on your couch - but never said hi, it would be a bit awkward. That's how it can be with blogging. We put our words out there and know people are reading (our stats tell us people have been visiting), but it's often silent. It makes me wonder why no one is saying hi. All this to say, take a moment to say hi.
