There was another excellent Easter post on Compassion's blog yesterday...
Please be sure to read it ~ especially if you sponsor a child in Guatemala.
Not wanting to be distracted by stuff to do at home, I took my girls to a tulip farm. The sun was shining and the flowers did not disappoint. As we walked through the 40 acres of flowers, we were able to reflect on the significance of Christ's sacrifice.
I love the lyrics from the chorus of Beautiful, Scandalous Night...
At the wonderful, tragic, mysterious treeOn that beautiful, scandalous night you and meWere atoned by His blood and forever washed whiteOn that beautiful, scandalous night
I hope you have a blessed Easter.
These pictures are gorgeous! I am going to have to research if there is a tulip farm within driving distance from me.
