It's that time of the month when we take a few moments to name all the gifts and blessings God has brought our way through the ministry of Compassion. Join us!

This month was mostly about birthdays for us....

Happy 17th Birthday to Josseling in Nicaragua!

Perhaps the most exciting part of this month is that I'm making plans to go meet Josseling in January 2015....
Lord willing, I'll travel to NI with my mom and we'll meet our sponsored kids (who attend the same project).
We've been dreaming of taking a trip together for several years and it's exciting to actually be planning it.
Our very dear friends go to NI every year for mission work, and we'll be with them while we are there.
My husband was able to go meet Josseling a couple years ago (with the same friends).

another HUGE highlight of the month....
 I met Yvonne Reynolds and her daughter Kelsey on Monday in San Francisco!
We've been online friends for a couple years now, and she's a regular contributor here, 
so it's very exciting to meet face to face.
