I have sponsored Miati from Indonesia since January 2009 and since then I am always on the lookout for information about Indonesia. Miati lives on Timor Island which is the Eastern part of Indonesia. Its quite remote and I havent found very much info about it so far. Thank you for the links and book recs. :)

Compassion recently did a ministry highlight for eastern Indonesia....did you see that on their blog? If you click on the Compassion blog link from this post, it will come up.

Our boy Fernando (aka Nando) is 5 and is just the sweetest :)
We began sponsoring Ronaldo in 2008. His birthday is January 4th which is the same as my mom's. My Dad's name is Ronald, so it was a perfect fit for our family. My kids were excited that this young man from Indonesia shared a birthday and name with their grandparents. :) He is a sweet boy who is always asking for wisdom so he can do well in school.
